The Lake George Winter Carnival is on Feb. 7th. We decided not to have our display there as there is no good place for it to be located. Winter Outing at the Pond: At the meeting we did discuss getting together at the pond. It hinged on the road being plowed close to Butch Bolduc's camp. With further research, we realized it is a seven-mile ski from the plowed road. The trip has been cancelled. Augusta Report: Ian reported that negotiations are still proceeding on a positive note with Plum Creek. Also, on Feb. 3rd the Land for ME's future bond will be discussed in Augusta. It is a time for citizens to meet with their legislators and hear about the bond. The land bond will be very important for the Plum Creek deal. Everyone please call your representatives and ask them to support the bond. The next meeting will be on February 24th at 6:00. It will be a potluck, and held in Sarah's studio.
