MINUTES FOR FRIENDS OF BALD MOUNTAIN POND JUNE 22, 2004 The meeting was held at the DesPres' following a delicious pot luck dinner. Those attending were Mary Lou and Frank Ridley, Sherri Vigue, John Ackley, Len and Cory DesPres, John Beeuwkes, and Sarah Carpenter. Treasurer's report: Sherri reported $1455 in the treasury. She submitted our application for the Common Ground Fair. Outhouse report: The site evaluation has been done. We are now contacting LURC, Plum Creek, and the local plumbing inspector. Butch Bolduc reported he will draw up a material list, and then ask local businesses to contribute supplies. We plan to have a workday in the fall or spring to construct the outhouse and dismantle the existing one. August report: Ian was not present. However, the legislators adjourned without putting a dollar amount on the Land for Maine's Future bill. IRS: No word from them. Common Ground: We will work on our display at the August meeting. Mary Lou will make us a GREAT map, which will clearly show which Bald Mountain and pond we are trying to protect. Bald Mountain Pond Trip: On July 24th we will go to Bald Mountain Pond.
